This is a picture of the slabs that Tim is putting down at all the entranceways. The step from the deck will come down to these slabs instead of putting down cement.. We are trying to stay away from cement...
We have the same slabs walking up to the backdoor.. Right now we have put gravel down as a sidewalk but we are planning on changing that - Tim has ordered some more slabs but they are going to take some time to get here so this is temporary for now.. The dirt areas are being prepared for a small amount of sod - just so we will have a bit of a backyard for the dog this winter.
My pictures always end up with all the workers STUFF in the way... I will be so glad when we don't have all of that to deal with.

Always looks better when the grass is down doesn't it. This is taken from the back door looking out into the yard.... That is an old stump with the rocks around it... we didn't have quite enough grass so we will spread some back mulch around there for now.. and the bark mulch is going to be spread down the slope behind the stump.. The area in gravel on the left back is going to be extra parking and an area to back out of the garage into to so I can drive out the lane forwards.
You can see that area better in this picture.. Again the painters buckets hanging around getting in the way of my pictures..... lol
