More transom and tray etc. pics....

Hey everyone. Rosie and Don (grandma & grandpa) are here visiting with us this weekend. We had a great time tonite sitting around shooting the breeze. Big things were happening at the house today but I didn't take my camera so will have to take some pics tomorrow and show some of the new happenings.

In the mean time I did take a few more pictures yesterday during the daylight. I really can't get over it every time I go in the house. It really is unlike any new house you see these days.

Isn't that Transom Window pretty and the colors are so warm and cozy.. I just love it. This is the transom between the diningroom and den. Today when I went to the house they were putting up light fixtures.

Three weeks ago I spoke to the lighting guy and told him I had seen the light fixture we choose for the diningroom in Vancouver and that it was huge and I was pretty sure it was just too big. When I got to the house today they had that fixture hanging and lets put it this way "OH MY GOODNESS - IT WAS HUGE" . It was not only too big for above my table it totally consumed the room... So by the time I left the electricians and builder decided to take it down and now I have to go tomorrow to pick out a new one. I TRIED TO TELL HIM.

The picture above is the Transom between the entrance way and the Livingroom.. You can see the color changes in the entranceways... It is called Dijjon - same color our friends the Zoobs in Kelowna have in their entrance.. hahaha It wasn't planned it just happened.
This next picture I was just trying to capture a little more dimension in the cupboard with the tray - so you could see that there is a shelf on the front of the cupboard. We are still missing that door to your right of the tray... All in good time they say...
