Hey guys... oh my goodness - after all those months of worrying and worring and not sleeping over color the first two colors are on the walls now..
The green in the kitchen of course which I will put some more pics of when the cupboards get finished (I hope tomorrow).
When I walked in today and saw Tim's den all painted - I was absolutely blown away.. it is absolutely so perfect, so warm, so beautiful and this was on a rainy, dull day and look how nice it looks

Oh my goodness - that is all I can say.. I am just going to love this house. It is warm and old fashioned and just so not like the modern houses of today.
I notice I have some light circles on the pictures - I think they are from the lights the painter had on. Can you feel the "OLD HOUSE" feeling. People keep telling me that they want to come over and see it when it is all done... Oh, and the porches are finally in process also.
Look at the colors on the outside - seriously it was the rainiest day and so dull out and yet doesn't it look like the sun was shining.
These shelves are for Tim's big screen components etc. His TV will be right in the middle of course and he has a new surround sound system coming in too... Now he will really dissappear into TV land.. lol
Tomorrow will be pics of the diningroom and livingroom and maybe the kitchen... oh you guys might be in for a great view tomorrow...
I am going to be constantly updating the Name the Homestead page. . please, please get your thinking caps on and please tell me which names you like.
