Just a quick note..

I am off to bed shortly and thought I would put a quick post up. We are expecting good friends from the mainland for the weekend so I am busy trying to prepare. I will put up some photos tomorrow for sure though.

The houses is amazing - that's all I have to say. Pretty soon there won't be so many major changes to show you but I am sure I can keep the blog somewhat intersting. The electrician told me today that they would be finished this week. The sound people are going in to wire for surround sound and speakers in rooms etc. and next week I think the insullation starts.

They started putting the board around the bottom of the outside of the house today and after that is done I believe the siding starts. The front and back porches are all done now - except the roofing material on the top and the floor of the porches isn't on yet - but I think the river rock pillars may come first.

We are going to have last appt with cupboard people this week and then they will order the cupboards. We are still working on the lighting but it is coming along. And of course the flooring is in process. We are about half way there.

We are really looking forward to the long weekend and our company. We are going to the Filberg Festival in town. http://www.filbergfestival.com/ It is supposed to be quite the famous festival.. Can't wait.

They are also this weekend having Nautical Days in Comox. We will have a busy but fun pack weekend. Life in a small town. I love it.
