I am a bad blogger.... :-)

Hello everyone - I really didn't fall into the ocean and float away - really I didn't. We had company for the long weekend and then one thing lead to another. I am over on the mainland for a really quick visit with my folks and kids. I will try to get a call into everyone on this trip but if I don't get to you please forgive me. There is so much to fit into a few short days.

The long weekend was such fun - our friends and old neighbours from Murrayville - Clare & Julie came for a vist. We had such a restful yet busy weekend. To my absolute delight and surprise they showed up with a homemade gift for me.

Everytime I sit in their backyard I always comment on how much I like this post they have in the yard that hanging baskets can hang from. I go outside to great the two of them and Clare pulls this out of the van. He had made it for us as a present - how awesome is that? Thanks so much guys for the lovely gift and the great weekend.

He even made it so that we can take the ball of the top and put a light on instead. I can hardly wait till we can start in our yard.

I am feeling a big urge to garden - I have always liked it and I have it in the blood lines because my mom and my grandma both really enjoyed gardening.





We are almost at lockup at the house and it's really starting to take shape. I brought some recent pics with me so I will get them up tomorrow now that I am back in blogger land.
