Fell asleep and missed a day...

Because I finally had a chance to relax a bit after the past two weeks of hard work, I have found that I am playing catch up a bit. Slept in quite late yesterday morning and then fell asleep in a chair watching tv last nite.

I am not as young as I used to be you know. haha

Today was a fun day. As most of you know we have another girl in our family that we sort of - unofficially adopted. Known to us as 'Lil Katie' - yes we have two Katie's in our life. Can you imagine the chances of that. And they are both quite the characters I might add.

Anyway, today Lil Katie and her big sister were tap dancing in the year end show of the dance studio they take lessons from.. Both these girls danced lots and lots growing up in Port Albernie and this year after some time away from it decided to go back to something they both love and to join an adult tap class. The girls are great dancers and it was so nice to be with their parents to enjoy watching them dance in a couple of numbers. They did one with the bigger group of adults and then one together - just the two sisters on stage. I know mom and dad were very proud of their girls.

It was a great show with all types of dancing and all ages from the little wee ones to the adult group. It took me back many years to when we used to watch our Katie dance as a little girl.

After the show her parents, the two girls and myself went out for early supper before her parents headed to catch the ferry back to the Island. Tonite Lil Kate and myself went to church together. It was an awesome nite at church and nice to be able to go with her while I was in town.

Well, a busy week ahead visiting friends and neighbours so better get a good nites sleep. Will start posted some pics of the inside of our 'Little Cottage' tomorrow. I am missing my little place but definitely enjoying visiting with the people I love.
