It's Just a Ferry Trip Away...

Hello, well I am back on mainland soil. I arrived around 6:30 tonite and promptly went to a nite school class I had signed up for. It went much later than I thought it would so won't take much time tonite for a post.

Before leaving Courtenay today I picked up our mail at the post office - there was a special envelope for TJ. He is officially accepted into the Bachelor of Science Program and UBC Okanagan. Yahoo... it's all good. Look at those okanagan mountains behind the university mountain. I love the okanagan. He is a very lucky guy to be going to school there.

I also got a package from Primus for high speed internet. That's the modem and all the wires and jacks etc. I am still not convinced that I will be able to get it as I have phoned them so many times and yes they offer the service as does Telus but all the ports all full. So last Friday I get a call telling me this (I already had figured it out) and then on monday a message on our phone saying they were sending me the highspeed modem etc. So I phone and they seem to think that 'NO' it was just some sort of programmed call and didn't mean anything. Ya, well today the package arrived - so go figure.. Now I have wait for 10 days till I get home to find out if I have it or don't have it. I am seriously pained by the whole dial-up process. It is brutally slow.. So, I guess we keep our fingers crossed.

I went kind of crazy and took a whole bunch of pictures of the inside of the cottage before I left - so I will be able to share the inside of my new home with you over the next number of days.
