Today I thought I would send some pictures of the front entrance. The tile floor is heated in both front and back entrances. It is so nice on the feet to just stand on it and feel that heat warming your feet.
Don't you just love those little windows on either side of the door. The doors are also wood - which we have never had in a house before.

I also like the fact that the railings on the stairs on wood. I have always had painted wood which collects so much dust - at least the dust doesn't show on the wood. Still got to dust it of course but much easier to keep up.
Well there you have it - a look at the entranceway from different angles. The deer are leaving their footprints across the front yard but haven't actually seen any deer for a few weeks. I guess there isn't anything for them to eat right now. Tim is workin on plans for the pergola right now. He hopes to start on it when TJ comes in a few weeks. He needs some help to set the big posts that frame the arbour. It's so good to have young sons who have lots of muscles... lol

it looks nice... i like the diamonds on the floor... do you have a floor plan you can show on the computer? i'm confused how it all goes together? is this the living room that wraps around into the dinning room and then the kitchen? maybe i'm just getting a little slower playing with a baby all day... who knows?
